Depart

Wow! Time flies when your in the will of the Lord! Tomorrow is departure day. The travel schedule looks a little something like this...
11:45 flight from Nashville to Newark
2 hour layover in Newark to Mumbai
12 hour flight with 12 hour layover in Mumbai
2 hour flight to Khatmandu, Nepal
We will be staying with the Ingles, a missionary family in Khatmandu. They have prepared for our stay, and I'm sure by April we will not want to leave our new family there :( sad day.
Not really sure on all the wonderful things we will be doing and experiences we will get to have, but I will try my best to keep updated pictures and stories of "EVERYTHING" that happens....
Keep the GBC girls in your prayers! We look forward to the next update from the other side of God's beautiful earth.

T - 16 Days

Wow in just two weeks, Me and the chicas will be on a plane, well a few planes, making our way to Katmandu. It's so unreal. Packing has been fun... My shoes of course are the hardest item to thin out, but packing for cold weather for three months under 50 lbs. is a bit of a challenge.. Please continue praying for our preparation, and for the people of Nepal. That God would be going before us, preparing hearts. That all our travel and packing issues are resolved with the help of the Spirit. Thank you Lord!

Save the Date

Well.... sorta.
It's official, January 29, 2013 is the day we depart for Nepal!! This news is so very exciting, and coming up in T-53 days... That's pretty soon, next month to be precise. I will be coming back on April 21, 2013. Wow. SO, please keep this new information to help guide in prayer for me and the girls! Be in prayer for this time of preparation, our final harvesting, and safety. Thanks Bunches!

Happy Thanksgiving!!
What a beautiful season, and man do we have So So SO much to be thankful for. The Lord is faithful! He is a God of life and abundance, and I will meditate on His goodness! Thank you my God!

5K Victory

Well, no I didn't win the 5K, but it was a victory. Saturday, November 17th, was a beautiful morning. The route was chalked, balloons flying, and stretching beginning. The beautiful fall trees lined the sidewalks, and the sun and blue sky were picturesque. There was a fair turn out of runners, and it was just a fun friendly race. (even though my dear friend Zack won!) The facebook vote for what we had to wear ended up being 80's workout attire, which was goofy and fun to say the least, but my advice to anyone is NEVER run or walk a 5k in Keds... worst idea ever. We harvested a lot of funds, but are not sure of the financial standings yet. The support is still trickling in! Praise the Lord for His provision. Anyways, all that to say the 5k was a success. Loads of fun and a beautiful day.
