2 Cor. 12.9
"My grace is sufficient for you, My strength is made perfect in your weakness." Therefore most gladly I would rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

The Purpose
Man! The L-rd continues to show and teach me new little things everyday! I love that I can learn new truths about Him everyday, He never runs out of newness. As us girls were talking about our time here so far, and the expectations we had arriving, and how most of them have been so different, I realized something kinda big.
Say, we had gone to Mexico... Well it would have been a lot of outreach, lots of strangers, dances, programs, walking the streets, just different. Here, it's not that safe for us to be on the street, we don't know the basics of the language, and public outreaches are illegal. So being here for the first month and adapting to everything has been wonderful, but we all felt a little bit like we haven't done enough, or in some cases, "have we done anything?" The Lord was speaking to me about our purpose here. It's so obvious we are meant to be here. A house full of girls, the ways we have been prepared, and how we have been equipped. We are here to aid and encourage both this family, and this ministry. The culture here needs help raising leaders to LEAD, not just await orders. The youth kids need to step up in responsibilities. The family needs encouragement, and even extra hands and minds to help with so many tasks going on at the same time. They are in charge of so much, any little thing we can do is a huge help.
So even as I have been a little intimidated leading discussions, and teaching through Restored, the L-rd has revealed that He has so prepared me for this. He desires me to step up into these sometimes uncomfortable leadership roles, because He wants me to lean on Him and His strength and not mine. O how I'm learning so much that I'm wired like that, man is wired like that, to be self-dependant. The L-rd is saying, 'Kayla, I'm giving you these challenges. To help you grow, and to also help you see that when you walk in my Spirit, I guide and help you through any trial.' What a wonderful G-d I serve.
I am here to be a leader, an encouragement, and an example.
May His praise be continually on my lips!
May All glory be to Him!
May I daily die to self, and choose to be led by the Spirit!
O my Je-us, how I love You.
