Hail Storm

Today was a day like any other. We walked down to the community center to make more envelopes today. The skies we slowly getting darker, and the winds began to howl (bear with me, sometimes describing things in a cheesy way is more fun). Envelopes and papers began flying around the room, so soon after arrival we decided tok go home before the floodgates were opened. Right as we headed out, what would you know, the trickle of rain began. This walk is like 15 minutes, and if it rained too hard, all the roads turn to sinking mud pits... So our time was running out. We started out running, but we all know that didn't last long, considering the journey back is all an uphill incline. Luckily we left soon enough to get home only experiencing some heavy rain, and the start of the hail storm. We ran in the door, only to get the happy remark of "aren't you glad you brought your rain jacket".... The truth is, today started out beautiful and lovely weather, and I didn't want to be burdened with carrying a jacket around, so I left it today. We were lucky to only get a bit wet and pelted, but others were not so.. We lost some out there, some good men... (ok, again, sometimes the sarcasm in me comes out while writing) (clarification: Nobody Died) We got to watch the rest of the storm from the comfort of a dry house. The End.
